Children and adults with intellectual disabilities have to overcome many barriers in life. They have certain limitations in cognitive functioning and skills, including communication, social and self-care skills. It’s their dream that everybody can see their talents and abilities and that people all over the world applaud them for all that they can achieve through sports. For this, the idea has been developed to have 1 million RSI Sports Panel tiles sponsored and pave the path for Special Olympians to play sports on unified sports courts – The Special Olympics Courts of Dreams. Contributing to help building the dream of Special Olympians is easy. You can buy one sports tile for as less as € 6,50. Of course you can buy as many tiles as you want, bearing in mind that for every tile sold, € 3,- go to Special Olympics to support an athlete. With the tiles sold we will build numerous Special Olympics Courts of Dreams all over. To bring the game even closer to Special Olympians to continue practicing on quality grounds during the COVID 19 challenging times, RSI/Versacourt will donate full courts to selected SOB-sports clubs ‘backyards.
